Cancellation & Deposit Policy (Organisations)
Scope
This policy applies to all programs, events, classes, or similar services (“Programs”) provided by Skate Tech (also referred to as “we”, “us”, “our” in this document) to third-party organisations or clients.
Deposit and Payment
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking.
The deposit must be paid no later than 7 days before the program date.
The remaining 50% of the program fee must be paid within 7 days of the scheduled program, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellation by the Client
If you cancel 48 hours or more before the scheduled start time, we will fully refund your deposit.
Alternatively, you may choose to apply the deposit to a future program.
If you cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, you forfeit the 50% deposit.
You will not be charged any additional fees.
Cancellation by Us
In the rare instance that we must cancel or reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible.
If a suitable alternative date or replacement tutor/coach cannot be arranged, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.
If both parties agree to reschedule the program (with at least 48 hours’ notice), your deposit will transfer to the new date.
If a new date cannot be confirmed, the relevant cancellation terms apply.
Unforeseen Circumstances
If cancellation is due to events beyond anyone’s control (e.g., extreme weather, emergency, government directives), we will work with you to reschedule at no extra cost. If rescheduling is not possible, the deposit will be fully refunded.
If a mutually acceptable reschedule date is not possible, we will refund your deposit in full.
Communication
Please send all cancellation or rescheduling requests in writing (e.g., via email) to ensure clarity and proper record-keeping.
Agreement
This policy will be referenced in your service agreement/booking form, confirming your acceptance of the terms.
Policy Updates
Skate Tech may review and update this policy periodically. We will notify you of any significant changes.
